Missions
Our One Heart Church missions’ theme for 2025 is Raise the Bar – Living on Mission and is taken from I Corinthians 9:23 (NASB). “I do all things for the sake of the Gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.” One Heart Church has the blessing of sharing the Gospel with people around the world. Since its beginning in 2005, OHC has carried this message of hope to Romania, Ukraine, Argentina, Honduras, Guatemala, Tanzania, England, Italy and the Dominican Republic. We have witnessed God move in miraculous ways as many of accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and untold thousands has been raised for mission causes. You can join is in prayer for our upcoming 2025 global trips.

Please notice information below regarding these trips. Our 2025 is Raise the Bar – Living on Mission. Dominican Republic 2025
Just about an hour outside of the large city of Santiago, Dominican Republic, lies the picturesque town of Jarabacoa. Known as “The City of the Everlasting Spring,” the journey there will take you into the mountains. You will travel up where it is much cooler and gorgeous. The Central Mountain range and Jarabacoa provide sweeping landscapes perfect for a wonderful medical mission.
Medical mission trips here last one week. Immediately upon arrival at the Mission of Hope (MOH) compound, you will be greeted with warm smiles and excitement as the MOH staff help provide great food and lodging. The MOH staff will also help prepare for the week.
After church and orientation on Sunday, you will settle into four days of clinic. It is all hands on deck as we seek to provide spiritual care and also physical care. There is a great bonus to working in Jarabacoa and with MOH – great translators! We love getting to know them and working alongside them.
We are looking for doctors, dentists, nurses and members of the health community to go. If you are not a doctor, dentist or nurse, do not worry. There is still much to do that week at the clinic. If God prompts you to go to the Dominican Republic, He will fulfill that prompting 100%! We are praying for more missionaries to come to The Land of the Everlasting Spring to serve Jesus in 2025.
Romania 2025
June 25 – July 5 , 2025
Romanians love their country and many can see why. From the Black Sea, to the rolling hills outside Resita, it is gorgeous and breathtaking. OHC has been going on mission to Romania longer than any other place. Our ministry has been centered 45 miles east of Timisoara in a town called Lugoj. This area is known as the Banat region and more specifically, the Banat Valley.
Our mission in Romania is unique in other ways. Our team comprises missionaries from three other churches. We need this many missionaries to accomplish the large work in
Romania. We helped to start and maintain the largest Christian school in Europe, Grace Christian School. We have worked extensively for years in the surrounding villages and
in multiple orphanages.
Our host church, Grace Baptist Church along with our host Pastor, Bebe Ciausu welcome us each year with open arms. This church and Pastor know that Romanians are open
to the Gospel. They consider our time among them to be very strategic.
The scope of impact in Romania involves every type of ministry. This includes encouraging orphans, engaging local churches and ministering among Romanians. We are praying
for more missionaries to come with us to Romania – The Land of Beauty and Unity.
Tanzania 2025
September 1 – 11, 2025
To say that the people of Tanzania are resilient would be a huge understatement. They thrive on hard work, ingenuity and hustle. In addition to those qualities they possess a love for their country and soft hearts. This means they are open to the Gospel.
The people of Tanzania also live in one of the most gorgeous places on earth. The sun shines bright each day until it creeps slowly behind the horizon. These people and place form a perfect union and provide a wonderful backdrop for a mission trip. One Heart Church (OHC) has been going there annually since 2011.
Our host church, Warehouse Christian Center, and our hostess, Patience Mitimingi, welcome us each year. We have been working to encourage four orphanages in the area. They are Buloma, Sifa, Amani and Green Pastures. As we visit, the children run to meet us with smiles on their faces. We spend time with them playing, teaching, singing and often
sharing a meal together. OHC has been instrumental in providing many necessities for each orphanage, including drinking water and clothes.
In addition to ministering in orphanages, we have been working to strengthen local churches and local Pastors. We do this in a variety of ways such as training events, conferences and regular church gatherings.
We are praying for more missionaries to come with us in ministry in Tanzania – The Land of the Forever Sun.
