At One Heart Church, we identify ourselves as “Authentic followers of Christ, committed to impacting our world.” The Women’s Ministry of OHC therefore exists to amplify the work that God is doing through One Heart, by investing in the gospel growth of women in order to unleash a movement of disciple-making disciples into the world. As we keep Christ central in all that we do, we are committed to meeting people at the point of their need – both spiritually and physically. The Women’s Ministry strives to reach our goals through activities and events aimed at (1) fostering genuine relational connections, (2) equipping women biblically and practically, and (3) reaching our world – both near and far – with the love and truth of God. As a reflection of our diverse church body, we invite women of any age and stage to join with us as we pursue gospel growth together.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY UPCOMING EVENTS
REGISTER NOW FOR FALL WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: EPHESIANS
On Tuesdays from September 19 – October 24 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Susan Hearn will be teaching a 6-week women’s Bible study on the book of Ephesians. Ephesus was a city devoted to idol worship, where Paul and his companions had suffered persecutions and danger of various kinds. No wonder Paul concludes his letter to the believers in Ephesus with the famous “Put on the full armor of God”! But where does he begin in his address to these faithful believers who are living in such a place? He begins with “in Him”! In Christ, they – and we – are being “built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit,” and this affects every area of our lives! Come join us as we learn together from Paul’s word to the Ephesians how to “walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called.” Sessions are free and will be held in OHC Room E221. Childcare available. Register by clicking the button below.
REGISTER NOW FOR FALL WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: 1 Peter
On Thursdays from September 14 – October 19 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. the women of OHC will gather together to study the book of 1 Peter. Join us as we investigate how God spoke through Peter to the early church, which was facing great adversity. As we unpack God’s Word, we will come to understand our identity as strangers in this world, our need for obedience in the face of hardship, and how we can live with true joy and real hope no matter our circumstances. Sessions lead by Lindsay Lewis. This study is free and will be held in OHC Room E221. Childcare available. Register by clicking the link below.
