David said it this way….WE will be satisfied with the goodness of your house…What a great reminder of contentment and satisfaction. We live in a culture saturated with discontentment and dissatisfaction looking for something more. Looking for some way to fill up a part of life that was actually always reserved for One person. As I read this passage each day for the last 7 I kept contemplating the same questions:
1. Am I satisfied with his goodness?
2. Do I really grasp how good God is?
3. Am I content when I enter His house?
4. Why are so many missing the goodness of God?
I think sometimes an objective look inside makes the outside look a lot better. IF we took just one day and only focused on His goodness not our expectations what might happen to us. All week I have asked God to show me His goodness in ways that only could be explained by Him. He DID! If you read Psalm 65:4—you may get a fresh new awareness of His goodness because He chose you to enter HIS house.IF that verse doesn’t speak to you then go to Psalm 27:4–you will find David linked his whole life to one thing—His house. Pretty evident…His house should turn our hearts to His goodness. May His goodness rest on you as you read this in a way that staggers you! HE is good!
