Can I win in this life?

*Momentary defeat steals long term perspective
*Doubt disables our direction
*Deception rules a defeated heart

*These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me
You may have peace. In the world you have tribulation,
But take courage; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

*You are from God, little children, and have overcome them;
Because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. I John 4:4

*For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory
That has overcome the world-our faith. I John 5:4-5

I. Principles to apply to our hearts—John 16:33
A. Peace is a precious gift for our heart-
B. Tribulation is an indication of our relationship-
C. Courage is our ability to fight while facing obstacles-
D. Overcoming is the affirmation of living in His victory-
*An overcomer looks at life through the finished work of the cross,
That allows a victorious mindset!

II. Assurances to direct our hearts—I John 4:4, 5:4-5
A. Greatness of Jesus in our daily lives-
B. Salvation is an ever-present source of affirmation-
C. Faith is our day to day plan for living-

III. Commitments to anchor our hearts-II Corinthians 2:14
A. Position your life in gratitude-
B. Never let defeat define you-
C. What fragrance do you smell?

*We win when we live by principles, walk in assurances and commit to Jesus!
