Philippians 4:10–13 (Listen)

10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

How content are you?

Generosity—Motivating force of grace that compels us to bless others-

*Better is a little with fear of the Lord than great treasure and turmoil with it.
Proverbs 15:16

*Make sure your character is free of the love of money, being content with
what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever
forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

*Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever
circumstances I am. Philippians 4:11

Principle—-God places people and His causes in our lives! As we press in

I. Never stop planting—v.10
A. Genuine concern
B. Renewed opportunity

II. Accept His provision—v.11
A. Be careful what you want
B. Recognize unique circumstances

III. Live in the secret—v.12
A. Humility
B. Prosperity

IV. Access His supernatural power—v.13
A. Power from above
B. Supernatural strength

PLANT—ACCEPT—-LIVE—-ACCESS
