At One Heart Church, we identify ourselves as “Authentic followers of Christ, committed to impacting our world.” The Women’s Ministry of OHC therefore exists to amplify the work that God is doing through One Heart, by investing in the gospel growth of women in order to unleash a movement of disciple-making disciples into the world. As we keep Christ central in all that we do, we are committed to meeting people at the point of their need – both spiritually and physically. The Women’s Ministry strives to reach our goals through activities and events aimed at (1) fostering genuine relational connections, (2) equipping women biblically and practically, and (3) reaching our world – both near and far – with the love and truth of God. As a reflection of our diverse church body, we invite women of any age and stage to join with us as we pursue gospel growth together.
Country Living Fair
On Sunday, October 23rd after church, the women of OHC are headed to the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain! We will leave from the north church parking lot at 12:15 and take vans together to the festival. Registration for this event costs $13, which covers the cost of your entrance into the fair. You must register by October 17 if you want us to buy your ticket for you. If you sign up after this date you will be responsible for buying your own ticket at the door for an increased rate. We will return to OHC at 4:30 p.m. Lunch can be purchased inside the fairgrounds, or you are welcome to pack your own lunch to bring along. Click here to register.
New Fall Bible Studies for Women (Click here to sign up for any of the following studies.)
Entrusted: A Study of 2 Timothy (A Beth Moore Study)
Taught by Cindy Spicer | 6 weeks | Saturdays, 10 am-Noon | Begins Oct. 1
Not only is 2 Timothy Paul’s final letter, but it is also his last words to Timothy, whom Paul described as “his beloved son” in the ministry. Paul traveled with Timothy and mentored him closely, so that he could step in to fill Paul’s big shoes after the Lord called him home. We will be challenged by Paul’s transparency, his instructions for Timothy after his passing, his approach to the finish line of his earthly race, and his absolute faithfulness of God through hard times. I can’t wait to be inspired by Beth’s wonderful video lectures. Cost: $13

Galatians: Getting Grace Straight
Taught by Susan Hearn | 8 weeks | Tuesdays, 9-11 am | Begins Sept. 13
Gresham Machen said, “False ideas are the greatest obstacles to the reception of the gospel.” We are constantly inundated with false ideas and rhetoric designed to disturb us and “distort the gospel of Christ.” How do we sort through all this and find the real gospel, the gospel of grace? Galatians is a good place to start! The churches in Galatia were facing the same kind of problem, and they were in deep trouble. Join us as we dig deep into God’s word to the Galatians. Paul addresses these false ideas with the force and clarity that only a loving spiritual father can do. Real gospel, real truth, real freedom!

Getting Ready: The Parable of the Ten Virgins
Taught by Jenny Thomas | 5 weeks | Saturdays, 9-11 am | Begins Jan. 7
Jesus understood that His Church would need encouragement to be watchful while awaiting His second coming. For this reason, He gave the Parable of the Ten Virgins. Come discover the rich imagery, symbolism and hope in Jesus’ beautiful promise, meant to inspire us to be spiritually prepared for the coming of our Bridegroom.
