Christmas at OHC

Christmas 2011

Dear One Heart family and friends,

This Sunday we return to our regular schedule with services at 9:30 and 10:50! Please remember to be present at your respective service. As we move towards the Christmas season I want to make sure we don’t forget to be present each week. On Sunday–WAKE UP, STEP UP and BE FAITHFUL! I’m counting on you!

NOW–We will enter the month of December tomorrow. This will be an amazing month for OHC! I want to take a moment and remind you of all that is happening!

*Dec. 4—We begin the season with singing of beautiful Christmas carols—We will dedicate 7 of our precious little ones in our morning services. Please be present to encourage all our families as they bring their children to our Lord.

*Dec. 11–Is another very special day at OHC! We will worship in two services and return that evening for a special night of music with our praise team and a full orchestra. Please make plans to be present for the evening of Christmas praise. IT will make your Christmas month!

*Dec. 18–On this Sunday we will have a very special time of Communion as a part of our morning worship services. There is something truly beautiful about our Christmas communion. We also will have baptism that morning. Please contact Pastor Larry is you would like to be baptized – 770-713-8572.

*Dec. 18–On this Sunday afternoon we will host as open house in our home for the entire OHC family from 3 to 6pm. We’d love our entire church family to come by at some point during this special day.

*Dec. 25–A beautiful day is planned with a 10:30 only service as we celebrate Christmas together. It’s going to be a time you won’t want to miss. Our children will gather with us for this service and I’m inviting our children to bring their favorite new toy to church and I’ll have a special time with the kids during the service.

As you can see….this is one amazing month! I can’t wait to enjoy every moment of it!

NOW–one other important item to remind you of regarding Big Oak ranch at Christmas time! This past Sunday–Brian Brown shared about several needs for the ranch. I’ve listed the items below. If you happen to be able to purchase one of these before Saturday morning and can drop it off at the church we can have our men’s ministry deliver it when they go over to minister there on Saturday. I’d like us to bless these boys and girls with many of the things they need.

Merry Christmas–as we celebrate the real reason for the season—-our precious savior — Jesus!

Pastor Gearl
