First Wednesday Shindig – Happy Thanksgiving Help
On Wednesday, November 2, come and join OHC KIDS Midweek from 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. as we sort the food from OHC Norcross Co-op Food drive, enjoy special treats and make crafts. This is for grades K-5 and meets in the children’s area upstairs.
OHC KIDS on Mission
OHC KIDS will be on mission at the Norcross Cooperative on Saturday, November 5. We will meet at the Norcross Cooperative on Mitchell Road at 12:30 p.m. and deliver the food from the OHC food drive, and stock shelves until 2:30 p.m. Please RSVP to Kassie Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org or (925)219-6248
Day Light Savings Time
Don’t forget that we ‘fall back” one hour on Saturday night, November 5 before you go to bed. Set your clocks back one hour and be ready for church at OHC on Sunday, November 6.
International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
On Sunday, November 6 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., OHC will gather together in the Chapel for a time of focused prayer over the persecuted church. There will be guided prayer information, as well as opportunities to write encouraging letters to specific people being imprisoned for their faith. Let’s come together in love and action, by battling in prayer for these brothers & sisters!
OHC Fall Festival
On Saturday, November 12, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., let’s celebrate fall together! There will be games, bounce houses, prizes, food, and so much more! You won’t want to miss this celebration of the season. Don’t forget to invite a friend! No entry fee, but bring some cash along for food options. Happy Fall Ya’ll!
Foster Care Christmas Collections
On the Sundays of November 13, 20, & 27, OHC will be collecting items to support our foster care community during the holiday season. Connie Coles will be collecting pajamas in various sizes, and Ari Mathe’ will be collecting Christmas gifts and financial donations for specific families. Both ladies will be at the information desk on these dates to distribute pajama size assignments & Christmas wish lists. Please see them for details!
Wednesday November 16 – RUSH Gives Thanks
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the amazing things God has done in our lives and how He impacts those around us. We want to invite you to RUSH to not only say thank you but to also thank God for what He has done in our lives. We will have ham and chicken nuggets. We are asking middle school to bring a dessert or appetizer and high school bring a side dish. We will meet in the gym @ 6:30 p.m. and dismiss around 8:00 p.m.
Sunday November 20th – Young Marrieds Fellowship
Join us Sunday, November 20 for our Young Marries Fellowship. We will be concluding Chip Ingram’s “House or Home” series from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall complete with a Thanksgiving Dinner. Childcare is available upon request.
