Discover One Heart Church- Sunday, October 2, 5:00 p.m.
If you would like more information about the ministries of One Heart Church, or what it means to join the church, this gathering is the next step you need to take. You will learn about what kind of church we are and how to get connected. You will also be able to ask any questions you may have.
OHC Preschool Monday Moms
If you are a mom with preschoolers, join us Monday night, October 3 at OHC. Let’s take a “time out” for our moms to enjoy an evening together from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for dinner, devotion, and delightful friends in the Hospitality Room.
OHC KIDS 1st Wednesday Shindig – Pumpkin Party
On Wednesday, October 5th, come and join OHC KIDS Midweek from 6:45 – 8:00 pm as we paint pumpkins, and enjoy special treats. This is for grades K-5 and meets in the children’s area upstairs.
OHC Students to Corn Maze @ Washington Farms
The leaves have started to fall and it is time to venture into the corn maze @ Washington Farms for a night of fun and mystery on Saturday, October 8! Bring a flashlight for this spooky walkthrough as we enjoy a challenging maze @ night! Afterwards we will sit around the campfire toasting marshmallows! There is no cost for this event and we will be meeting @ 6:00 p.m. and returning around 11:00 p.m.
OHC Preschool Apple Picking
What a fun way to start off the Fall Season, picking apples fresh off the tree. On Saturday, October 8th we will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the church and travel to an Apple Farm for a fun day of picking.
OHC KIDS Out of School for Columbus Day
On Monday, October 10th, OHC KIDS grade K-5 will take advantage of the student holiday and go to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. We will take part in an onsite nature program that will include an up-close animal encounter. Please bring your own lunch. We will leave at 9:30 am and return at 2:00 p.m. Cost is $11/child
Young Marrieds Third Sunday Fellowship
Join us Sunday, October 16 as we continue Chip Ingram’s “House or Home” series led by Nathan Ballentine. We will meet from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall and childcare is available upon request.
GriefShare- Sundays, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Beginning October 23
GriefShare is a weekly grief recovery support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. Sign up by emailing Gayla Whaley: email@example.com.
OHC Women Country Living Fair
On Sunday, October 23rd after church, the women of OHC are headed to the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain! We will leave from the north church parking lot at 12:15 and take vans together to the festival. Registration for this event costs $13, which covers the cost of your entrance into the fair. You must register by October 17 if you want us to buy your ticket for you. If you sign up after this date you will be responsible for buying your own ticket at the door for an increased rate. We will return to OHC at 4:30 p.m. Lunch can be purchased inside the fairgrounds, or you are welcome to pack your own lunch to bring along. NCM Food Drive
On the Sundays of Oct. 23 & Oct. 30, OHC will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit our missions partner Norcross Cooperative Ministries. Please refer to the flyer to see specific needs, and bring your donations back to OHC no later than October 30th. NCM is doing awesome gospel work in our community, so let’s be generous in our support of their efforts!
Wednesday October 26th – What-A-RUSH –
This is a new offering on the last Wednesday of the month that will focus on fun and fellowship through team building games and challenges! Starts @ 6:45-8:15 p.m.! Dinner will be available starting @ 6:30 p.m.

Calling all Preschoolers and kids! On Sunday October 30th, is Missions Sunday, we would like all OHC KIDS to be a Superhero on a Mission. Come to church dressed like your favorite superhero and be a superhero by bringing in canned goods to help replenish the shelves at the Norcross Co-op.
Norcross Halloween Outreach
On Monday, October 31, OHC will be engaging with our neighborhood as community kids trick-or-treat down the streets of Peachtree St. We will have candy and warm drinks for passersby. Come on out, meet your neighbors, and show off your costumes! This will be a wonderful opportunity to invite people into our loving church family.
