As we enter the final 12 days before Christmas I want to remind you of several exciting things and challenge your heart. This coming Sunday, December 16, we have communion—a beautiful part of our Christmas story because it allows us to look inside our hearts. Make plans to experience it this Sunday at OHC! We also are baptizing several who have given their hearts to Jesus. It’s going to be very special and we will baptize in the early part of the second hour.
Two other very important items:
1. Christmas caroling for the entire family—Anyone who would like to carol can plan on meeting at the church at 5pm. If you have questions please contact Cortney our children’s director at (770) 530-9220. After the time of caroling a small Christmas party will be held to encourage all the children who attend.
2. Year End giving—This year I have said very little about our personal stewardship but as we come to the end of another year I wanted to remind you about how important giving is for OHC. It’s in this month that we conclude our year of ministry and prepare for a new year. Would you be sure to evaluate your giving before year end and know that I’m trusting God to bless every family in our church. Be sure to give your offering by Dec. 31st!
